Here at CrossFit Mendota, we greatly emphasize the importance of nutrition, which is the cornerstone to your optimal health. What you eat affects your energy levels, mood, mental clarity and how efficiently your metabolism burns calories.

Your body should run like a finely tuned machine, and the food you put into it can act as high quality jet fuel…or it can be the sludge that drags you down. You truly are what you eat.

Eat meat and vegetables, lots of good fats, some fruit, little starch and no refined sugar or processed foods.
